Order of Omega Toiletry Drive
The Ewing community experienced a tragedy on March 4, 2014. A gas explosion occurred that damaged approximately 55 condos, and multiple people were injured. The Order of Omega chapter sponsored a toiletry drive to help the families in need. We collected various toiletry items to donate, as well as cases of water, new clothing (with tags still attached) and new towels/blankets (with tags still attached). We also encouraged members to donate blood at the Blood Council of New Jersey, located in Ewing, who issues an emergency request for blood donations after the explosion due "to multiple injuries and an immediate need for blood" from local hospitals
